Reclaiming Strength At Core Defined Pilates

Core Defined Pilates

Amidst the tightknit community of Walkerston, lays Core Defined Pilates, a studio driven to maximise your strength and flexibility on a personal level, catering to your individual needs, whilst uplifting you in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Led by owner and passionate instructor Unica Estabillo, Core Defined Pilates represents the epitome of Pilates, offering a rehabilitative retreat for individuals seeking attentive care and transformative results.

Unica's love for Pilates began as a client, igniting a flame that would ultimately lead her to become a passionate instructor with eight years of dedicated experience. Teaming up with business partner Caitlyn Kremer, whose support and vision breathed life into their shared dream, the pair created Core Defined Pilates.

For the last four years, the studio has been a beacon of innovation within the community and is loved by locals for its tight-knit, supportive environment.

Steeped in history, Pilates was invented by Joseph Pilates during World War I, when he used the discipline to help rehabilitate injured soldiers. And while the artform has evolved over the years, the meaningful practice of healing and improving overall wellbeing remains the same. At Core Defined Pilates the team hold true to its origins, emphasising the personal care and support of the practice while bringing it into the modern era where everyone feels welcome to participate.

With a maximum of five people in class at one time, this approach ensures that instructors can assist clients based on their specific needs. The studio attracts people of all ages and fitness levels, ranging from the elderly with back pains to young teens who are wanting to strengthen their core, promising flexible support for all your comprehensive needs.

Core Defined Pilates is the only studio with all required equipment on deck, offering a diverse range of options to suit every need and preference, ensuring a dynamic experience for all.

Unica emphasises that Pilates is a really good rehabilitative style exercise, thus the root of Core Defined Pilates lays in benefiting the body with an approach that isn’t too extreme.

“It's very beneficial for the body and it’s not hard for the body either,” she said

“Pilates will give you that strength component while looking after the body in the process.”

Beyond the studio, Unica finds joy and fulfillment in both her family and her passion for helping others reclaim their strength and mobility.

“I just love helping people who are injured, weak and so down on themselves get past that injury and find the strength and mobility in themselves again.”

Whether you're seeking strength, flexibility or pain relief, Pilates offers a holistic approach to wellness that transcends the boundaries of traditional exercise.
