Owner, Rob Taylor, reflects on how important his team is in delivering streamlined service and quality advice.

“When you walk through the door this is your ‘work family’ and this is your ‘work home’,” he shared.

“At the end of the day, I believe everyone who works here has virtually identical morals and standards.”

A real estate agent for the past 20 years, Rob opened the doors to Taylors Property Specialists six years ago. At the time they had just five staff members and operated from a small office space at the Whitsunday Business Centre. Flashforward to the present day and they have a team 22 and a purpose-built extensive headquarters in Cannonvale with a dedicated Auction Room and modern office space. Earlier this year they also opened a second agency in Proserpine, an area Rob believes is experiencing significant growth.

Positive branding has always been at the foundation of good business for Rob who recalls that he was one of the first agents in town to introduce personal business branding.

“Having your picture on a sign didn’t really exist back then, but I loved it because it really personalises your branding,” he explains.

“I’ve always liked doing things a little differently and I think that not choosing the franchise model, doing it independently, is what has allowed us to do things our way.”

“We’ve been able to create our own brand and we make sure we maintain integrity to that brand in the way we believe a business should be run and how people should be treated.”
