Powering the Minespec Parts engine is Shane Ferris, a seasoned expert who brings 25 years of industry experience to the team. As Sales Advisor of Parts and Component Sales, Shane’s expertise and dedication ensure that both national and international customers receive the highest level of service.

Proudly Queensland born and bred, Shane began his career in the Kalgoorlie/Goldfields area, where he honed his skills in T/A work for four years. His journey then took him to the Northern Territory before moving on to pivotal sales roles with Emeco in Kempsey and Mackay. His journey has taken him through diverse roles in Western Australia, Northern Territory, New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland.

Over the years, Shane has honed his expertise in Heavy Mining Equipment Parts and Component Sales, spending 8 years in these roles, including the last two with Minespec Parts. His experience also includes 11 years in Purchasing for Heavy Mining Equipment, making him a key asset to the Minespec Parts team. Shane’s extensive knowledge and hands-on experience have been instrumental in supporting customers and driving success in the mining sector.

When he’s not driving results at work, Shane enjoys travelling, fishing, and relaxing with mates—making time to watch a good game of footy in his down time.
