Some women make an entrance, but Nadine Becker makes an impact.
As the owner of Ella Baché Mackay, she’s not just redefining skincare—she’s elevating the entire beauty experience. Approaching seven years of business ownership and instigating a game-changing move to a larger, more tranquil space in Wood Street, Nadine is proving that when passion meets expertise, the results are nothing short of radiant.
“The space is so peaceful and private—it’s a sanctuary,” she says.
This expansion hasn’t just been about square footage—it’s about what’s possible. The larger premises means tailored couples’ experiences are now a reality, where ‘his and her’ treatments can be perfectly matched.
“It’s all about designing the perfect experience for them both,” Nadine explains.
It’s this belief that beauty isn’t one-size-fits-all that sets Ella Baché apart.
“No two skins are alike. ‘Bespoke’ gets thrown around a lot, but that’s how we’ve always worked.
“Every treatment is tailored to the individual.”
One of the latest advancements on offer is the Japanese head spa, where a halo of water delivers a hypnotic, stress-melting massage experience.
“It’s next level relaxation,” she says.
From traditional beauty to cutting-edge aesthetics, Nadine and her team of five diploma-qualified therapists deliver expertise across all aspects of skincare and body care. Microneedling has become one of the clinic’s most in-demand treatments, working beneath the surface to activate collagen, smooth fine lines, and rejuvenate tired skin.
And while innovation is key, so is legacy. Nadine is passionate about mentoring the next generation of beauty therapists, employing three school-based trainees who offer reduced-cost treatments under the guidance of her senior team.
“It’s about giving them hands-on experience in a real salon setting. Plus, clients can get an amazing $50 spa pedicure or a $30 massage while supporting the next wave of talent,” she says.
For anyone wanting to break into the industry, her advice is simple: never stop learning.
“You can’t get complacent in this business. Trends change, techniques evolve—if you don’t keep up, you get left behind,” she says.
It’s this relentless pursuit of growth that keeps Nadine at the top of her game, and it’s a mindset reinforced by her fiancé, Frank, who has been both her biggest cheerleader and business mentor.
“He’s the one who always tells me to back myself. Take the plunge. Take the risks,” she says.
As the couple prepares for their destination wedding in Maleny this August, Nadine is embracing the crisp hinterland air as the perfect backdrop for their big day.
And while she may be all about beauty, there’s a toughness beneath the polish.
She’s a touch rugby and netball player, raised by a woman who could out-fish any bloke.
“My mum was fearless, and had the biggest heart,” she says.
“She took in other kids even when we didn’t have much to give.”
That spirit of resilience, generosity, and drive is woven into everything Nadine does.
Because at the end of the day, beauty isn’t just about glowing skin—it’s about strength, confidence, and the courage to take on the world.
What’s your go-to cooking crowd-pleaser?
“I recently taught myself how to make a chicken and mushroom risotto because Frank loves it. I also make a mean green Thai chicken curry.”
