The food scraps you put in your bin go to landfill. These scraps are trapped in an anaerobic environment which means no oxygen. Without oxygen, insects and microorganisms needed to break down your scraps cannot survive. Food that breaks down in this government produces methane. That’s a nasty “green house gas” that produces 20 times more heat than carbon dioxide, that leaks from the tip out into the atmosphere.
DO YOUR BIT
If you don’t have time or space to compost, collect your scraps and place them in the bins at Whitpro’s entrance gate. For your efforts, pick a packet of seeds for free. Honesty system: small actions x many people = big results. It takes a community to raise a healthy environment.

Thirsty person – Around 60% of or human bodies are made up of water. You’ll be lucky to survive 5 days without it. If you want to live longer drink 1-2 litres of water a day!
Thirsty Land – 1/3 of our planet is covered by water. But not clean fresh water. More than 1 billion people live without enough water.
Thirsty plant – If a plant holds enough water, it’s cells are swollen and the plant stands upright. If they lack water the cells deflate and the plant wilts. It needs more water.
